  Jack Reacher: Never go back (2016) | Review Tom Cruise rattles through every trope within the book because the vigilante ex-soldier, this point fleeing corrupt bosses during a high-octane sequel that revels in its absurdity.      Tom Cruise is back within the role of Jack Reacher, badass military cop turned maverick civilian engaged in freelance unpaid asskicking. he's suffused with pimpernel mystery. At the top of an adventure, Reacher will stick his thumb out and hitchhike his way into the night. (At the top of Pulp Fiction, John Travolta is derisive about Samuel L Jackson’s ambition to “walk the earth” like Caine from the television program Kung Fu on the grounds that he would just be a bum. But maybe he would be like Jack Reacher.)      This is the second in Tom Cruise’s silly, entertaining Reacher franchise, and that i hoped he would marry a lady called Round and choose the double-barrelled surname. Instead, he monkishly refrains from sex but do...

OBLIVION || Movie (2013) Review

  OBLIVION || Movie (2013) Review A bafflingly solemn, lugubrious and wonderfully derivative Science Fiction    Only recently, Tom Cruise looked as if he was attempting to grow twelve inches to play tall plug-ugly Jack Reacher; now his role-model appears to be Wall-E , the diminutive cartoon automaton left behind on a wrecked planet Earth to wash up.     Sadly there's none of Wall-E's spark during this bafflingly solemn, lugubrious and wonderfully derivative sci-fi which serves up great big undigested lumps of Total Recall, AI, Planet of the Apes – with little snippets of Top Gun.    Cruise plays Jack Harper, a troublesome and self-reliant soldier within the late 21st century, after a victorious but catastrophically destructive battle against alien invaders.      He has been tasked – along side the sleek and adoring Victoria, played by Andrea Riseborough – to watch what remains of Earth before humanity's final emigration, and to s...

16 blocks review Bruce Willis  plays Jack Mosley, a tired drunk, in "16 Blocks." Risks threaten the mission of elderly officer Jack Moseley, who is tasked with transporting a witness many want to be killed from police headquarters to the court building.  Despite the proximity, the journey to transport the witness seems almost impossible and full of difficulties and decisions.      A good action movie starring the well-known star ( Bruce Willis ), who plays a detective tasked with bringing a brown criminal to court so as to testify against defendants during a major case.      The task seems easy at the start , because the court is merely 16 blocks faraway from the police station , and with a time span that can't exceed two hours within the darkest conditions.      But the assumption within the simple the task dissipates immediately as soon because the investigator goes out into the road , where he finds himself during a fierce confro...

Baby Driver (2017)

 Baby Driver (2017) Car-centric crime action is stylish but shallow, violent. WHAT PARENTS got to KNOW      Parents got to know that Baby Driver is an action-packed crime drama a few young getaway driver (Ansel Elgort) for a gaggle of Atlanta bank robbers. Violence is constant and sometimes glamorized. There are several mass shootings, with machine-gun deaths choreographed to music; you'll also see several car accidents with splintering glass and bloody dead bodies, sudden deaths, blood, and gore. Many of the characters eventually die sudden, terrible deaths. the most character may be a reckless driver who performs over-the-top stunts; parents might want to remind teens to not do this reception . Characters kiss and make references to "getting it on" or "role playing." Female characters are briefly supply, and therefore the ones who are within the movie are sidelined, portrayed during a stereotypical way, and ogled by both the characters and therefore the camer...

Infamous is like Bonnie and Clyde meets Natural Born Killers : Like both of these films, it's something to mention about how media makes celebrities ou...

Avatar Movie Review (2009)

  Avatar Movie Review (2009) I was wrong. There I said it. Are you happy?       Having gleefully projected writer/director James Cameron's "Avatar" together of the "10 Fall Films That Are Really Gonna' Suck," i need to confess that despite the film's godawful trailer and over-reliance on new age techno-wizardry, "Avatar" doesn't , in fact, suck.       "Avatar" does, however, represent everything that's wrong, boring, out of touch and unnecessarily excessive about the Hollywood studio machine. While "Avatar" very often dazzles, and indeed it does, "Avatar" is extremely nearly barren of that spark of humanity that might allow the film to soar. Instead, James Cameron is content to make magnificent imagery and awesomely beautiful worlds that feel uncomfortable and pointless without a way or purpose.       Said to be the foremost expensive film ever made "Avatar" may be a depressing statement about Hol...
